Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr Vladimir Geroimenko is a Professor at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Science at the British University in Egypt, Cairo. He is an internationally recognised scholar whose research spans human–AI communication, prompt engineering, cognitive science, augmented reality, and emerging digital technologies. Dr Geroimenko has authored and edited 24 books, 17 of which have been published by Springer. His recent research monographs include Beyond and After Prompt Engineering: The Future of AI Communication (Springer, 2025), The Essential Guide to Prompt Engineering: Key Principles, Techniques, Challenges, and Security Risks (Springer, 2025), Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence: The Fusion of Advanced Technologies (Springer, 2023), and Augmented Reality Art: From an Emerging Technology to a Novel Creative Medium (3rd ed., Springer, 2022). He earned an MSc in Physics and Mathematics from Vitebsk State University (Belarus) in 1976, followed by a PhD in the Methodology of Science from the Belarusian Academy of Sciences in Minsk in 1982. In 1990, he was awarded a higher doctorate (DSc) in Cognitive Sciences from Belarusian State University. From 1982 to 1998, he worked at the Belarusian Academy of Sciences, where he conducted research in the methodology of science and human–computer cognitive models. Dr Geroimenko has held several international research and academic appointments, including Research Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany (1991–1993), and Visiting Professor at the SSKKII Centre for Cognitive Science at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden (1995–1998). In 1998, he joined the University of Plymouth, UK, as a Reader in Multimedia and Web Technology.
