Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr Iyabode Omolara Akewo Daniel is a Professor of English in the Department of Languages at the National Open University of Nigeria, and was also a Visiting Scholar at the Department of English of the University of Ghana. She has actively participated in organising academic events, having served as the Secretary of the 1st National Conference of the School of Languages, Federal College of Education, Okene, Nigeria, in 2005. She has also published articles in several national and international journals, as well as various chapters in edited volumes. She is the author of Introductory Phonetics and Phonology of English (2011). She is currently co-editing two books on language and literary studies with her colleagues.
