Author Information

Dr Jain's credentials include a MSc in Public Health from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK), another MSc in health Care Management from University of Surrey, UK and a Master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics from India. Her career spans over 24 years having worked in different countries such as India, UK, Qatar, USA (Washington DC), UAE (Dubai and Sharjah). She is currently based in Manila, Philippines since 2018 and is the Professor and Section Head, Department of Endodontics, National University College of Dentistry, Manila. She is also a project leader for a research on tobacco cessation counselling in collaboration with the Department of Health, Philippines. The international perspective of the present book reflects her broad personal experiences. Dr. Jain is also the author of Essentials in Dentistry (Jaypee Publishers, 2014) and editor of Current Therapy in Endodontics (Wiley Blackwell, 2016), for which she has led a team of 18 contributors from India, USA, Brazil, and the UAE.
