Commercial Poultry Nutrition has become the standard text for all involved in the commercial poultry industries. This 3rd edition is a major revision with virtually all sections being updated to accommodate the ever-changing genetic potential of broilers, layers, turkeys, waterfowl and game birds. The major new look is a double column format for ease of reading. Some 80% of the Tables and Figures have been revised or replaced, and the book is expanded by some 20% to 420 pages.

<b>S. Leeson</b> is a professor and department chair of the animal- and poultry-science department at the University of Guelph in Canada. His main area of research is the potential for manipulation of eggs and poultry meat as it impacts human health, which he has been working on for more than a decade. <b>J. D. Summers</b> is a researcher whose work has spanned all the major poultry species, and was truly one of the pioneers of the golden age of poultry nutrition. They are coauthors of <i>Nutrient Requirements of Poultry </i>and <i>Scott's Nutrition of the Chicken</i>.</p>
