Overview

This short work provides comments on some of the key verses of the Old Testament Prophets. It is not meant to be a commentary in the usual sense of the term and is not a verse-by-verse comment on any of the books of the prophets. The book lends itself to a quick look at some of the more interesting things the prophets had to say with an effort to make them useful to the twenty-first century reader. Most New Testament readers have a limited knowledge of the prophecy section of the Old Testament so this exercise provides an overview of what all the prophets were concerned about. As in my other comment books, each verse is followed with a Task for Today section. Use this to focus on how you can use the verse it follows. Doing that once a day will provide many personal growth activities.
