Author Information

Larry and Cindi Stocker are both retired, award-winning advertising and marketing professionals. After Cindi survived a traumatic brain injury in May 2017, Larry became her full-time caregiver. Though the change was abrupt, it opened the door for them to develop The HOPE Program-- the heartbeat of this, their first book. Cindi and Larry were featured in the April/May 2025 edition of Brain&Life Magazine, in an article titled Making a Difference: Speaking Up and Finding Joy and Purpose in Advocacy. Cindi continues painting, expanding her Dancing Through Life series to 14 canvases, while Larry pursues his mission to cultivate the most colorful flower beds in the neighborhood--earning him the affectionate title of Gentleman Gardener, bestowed by Cindi.
