OverviewA contemporary romance about coming home, second chances, and finding belonging where love least expects it. Three sisters and a brother have nothing in common except a father only interested in himself. Holly from Louisiana arrives first, literally with a bang, but in finding her Breton cousins discovers an opportunity to repair a damaged life. That allows her parents the satisfaction of discovering their own Breton roots. Maël flies in from Singapore to find that in Brittany his work is valued, his ambition supported and his business success assured. But Lizig from Belgium becomes involved with criminals and Gaëlle in Paris steadfastly resists all overtures from Brittany until her children make friends with their cousins and draw her in. Then a fleeting connection made months before offers Holly lasting happiness Full Product DetailsAuthor: Anne MorennPublisher: Anne Morenn Imprint: Anne Morenn Volume: 5 Dimensions: Width: 15.20cm , Height: 2.40cm , Length: 22.90cm Weight: 0.562kg ISBN: 9782489114089ISBN 10: 2489114085 Pages: 422 Publication Date: 15 March 2026 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: Available To Order We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier. Even in moments of heartbreak, there's always this quiet current of hope running through. The characters endure so much, yet the novel never feels heavy, it's tender and uplifting in subtle ways. Reading it felt like being reminded that no matter how hard life gets, there's always a way forward, always something worth holding on to. The relationships in this book feel incredibly real. Morenn captures all the small misunderstandings, the silences, and the slow healing that happens over time. There's a beautiful honesty in how she writes about forgiveness, it's never instant or easy, but it's possible. I loved how she balanced emotion and restraint. The story is touching without ever becoming sentimental. It feels true to life, and that's what makes it so powerful. Morenn's writing is so gentle, almost poetic at times, yet the emotional impact is powerful. The pain, love, and resilience of these characters feel raw and real. I found myself crying one moment and smiling the next. It's a story about loss, forgiveness, and finding strength in unexpected places. When I finished it, I just sat there for a while, letting it all sink in. I know it's one I'll be thinking about for a long time. What I loved most was how history wasn't just a backdrop-it was an active force in the story. Every decision the characters made was shaped by what came before, by old wounds and inherited hopes. The way everything came together at the end felt both inevitable and deeply moving. It's the kind of book that reminds you that the past is never really gone; it's always whispering just beneath the surface This book has heart, family, and second chances all woven together. The way the author ties the siblings' journeys into one emotional reunion is just beautiful A perfect escape read. The descriptions of Brittany are breathtaking and the family dynamics are so real. It's emotional but comforting at the same time. I finished this book in just two nights because I couldn't put it down. I had to know how all the women's stories were connected across generations. Each chapter added another piece to the puzzle, and when the final chapter arrived, it gave me chills. The way everything came full circle was just perfect. It's rare to find a book that delivers both emotional depth and that sense of discovery that keeps you turning pages late into the night. Couldn't put it down! Each chapter pulled me deeper into the family's tangled emotions. It's such a satisfying blend of heartbreak, healing, and hope. Author InformationAnne Morenn was born in London but spent a nomadic childhood on the south coast of England as her father's career moved from one Naval town to the next. She returned to London to take her first degree at King's College, but she continued moving and acquiring a series of business qualifications on the way. A village in Cornwall was followed by residence in Singapore. An insurance office in Dorset was followed by investment offices in London, Luxembourg, Paris, Frankfurt, Mumbai, Milan, Athens and Brussels and working with technical teams from India before she finally settled in Brittany. Becoming busy with growing flowers, researching Breton history, attending local festivals, enjoying local music and experimenting with cooking the wide range of produce found in Breton markets has not yet submerged Anne's lifelong habit of writing stories. Her current output is a series of romances based in Brittany. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
