Overview

Human love, in its entire splendor, is the reflection of a greater love, the Love from where all other love comes. When the Song of Songs celebrates the wedding of King Solomon with a foreign woman, the Holy Spirit, the real author of the Sacred Scriptures, takes our spirit to another king, another wife, and other weddings. And if this same spirit helps us to read its verses, a royal wedding that has been celebrated for thousands of years, becomes an open window to eternal weddings. Solomon is Jesus Christ. The wife is the church, the Virgin Mary, the soul. The marriage bed is the Cross. The wine cellar is Calvary everything is there, and everything happens today, for those who listen to the Word of God.
