Author Information
Dorothy Eisenstein is a professional dance educator and creative artist. She earned her BFA in Dance from the University of Illinois and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Wesleyan University. For twenty-five years, Dorothy directed the dance program at Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City. She has been a guest artist for Young Audiences of Michigan and the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning through the Arts. At University Liggett School in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, she developed a creative dance curriculum for children. Dorothy is also a certified yoga instructor, teaching yoga to dancers of all ages.
