OverviewColouring It Forward - Découvrez l'Art et la Sagesse des Pieds-Noirs est plus qu'un simple livre à colorier. Ce livre contient des oeuvres d'art authentiques de la nation Pieds-Noirs ainsi que des enseignements d'un ancien de la nation Pieds-Noirs. C'est le premier ouvrage d'une série de livres. Chaque livre mettra l'accent sur l'art et les enseignements d'une nation autochtone différente. Pour ce premier ouvrage, j'ai eu le privilège de travailler avec Camille Pablo Russell, ancien de la nation Pieds-Noirs, qui a généreusement accepté de partager avec moi sa sagesse traditionnelle. J'ai aussi eu la chance de collaborer avec deux artistes Pieds-Noirs très talentueux, Kalum Teke Dan et Ryan Jason Allen Willert. Je leur suis reconnaissante pour leur grande générosité et pour le temps qu'ils ont investi dans ce projet. Vous découvrirez dans ce livre les enseignements de l'ancien et les images incroyables créées par Kalum et Ryan, adaptées pour que vous puissiez y ajouter votre flair artistique. Nous vous proposons sur chaque page un espace pour y ajouter vos réflexions pendant que vous coloriez. Je serais ravie si vous acceptiez de partager sur mes pages Facebook ou Instagram vos créations, histoires ou idées qui inspireront de nouveaux livres ou projets. Souhaitant honorer toutes les belles choses vécues à l'occasion de ce projet, je verserai une portion des ventes aux artistes et anciens qui y ont contribué. Une seconde partie des revenus sera investie dans des projets au profit des peuples autochtones, dans des initiatives ayant pour but de créer des occasions d'emploi, aider financièrement de petites entreprises et supporter l'enseignement supérieur.
