This Indigenous Art ""Colour by Number"" book features designs created from original paintings from Kwakwaka'wakw artist Shirley Babcock. This publication contains 37 pages including 35 colour by number pages for Kids, Adults, Art Enthusiasts, Art Therapy, Relaxation and Fun. The first page includes a colour number chart to use on the images and the second page includes all images in full colour. All pages are in full colour including the numbers matching the colour.

Author Information

Shirley Babcock began painting as a hobby in 2005 and opened her Art business in February 2012. After graduating from Business Administration (Computer Information Systems), she spent 15 years in the Information Technology field. She was born in British Columbia, and has lived throughout BC from Vancouver Island, Lower Mainland, Cariboo, Okanagan, Central and Northern BC, she now resides in Prince George, British Columbia. Shirley became interested in Art after researching the history and culture of her Ancestors. Her maternal ancestry comes from the Dzawada'enuxw First Nation (Kwakwaka'wakw) & Shuneymuxw First Nation (Coast Salish) and her paternal ancestry comes from Acadia (French part of Eastern Canada).Although she creates her own style using variations, she uses the basic forms passed down through generations of her Ancestors of the Mid Coast Art style. Her primary medium includes acrylic on canvas & drums. Recently she's created Paint By Number Kits along with Colouring Books using her original paintings.
