OverviewEvery state has colors. People just view them differently. Did you know that in Minnesota there is purple rain? Or, that when Minnesotans see blue they see a land of 10,000 lakes? Or, that instead of playing Duck, Duck, Goose kids in Minnesota play Duck, Duck, Gray Duck? Through amusing rhymes and vibrant illustrations, ""Colors of Minnesota"" helps kids learn about colors and teaches them interesting facts about the state. ""Colors of Minnesota"" is perfect for newborns to five-year-olds, for daycares and schools, for kids growing up in Minnesota and those who just wish they were. As a child, he sprawled out on the kitchen floor and created grand adventures influenced by comic books and Saturday morning cartoons while his mother prepared dinner. In middle school and high school, he crafted tales for his friends at recess and sleepovers, always doing his best to draw out a laugh. Throughout college, the reams of paper containing stories continued to grow and, after graduation, Ryan followed his writing dreams all the way to Hollywood to try his hand at screenwriting. Now, back in the Midwest and a father of two, he writes books inspired by his children. It is Ryan's hope that Vegetah Books can bring as much enjoyment to the families reading them as they have to his in creating them. Ryan J. Schroeder has a B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
