OverviewTrey began writing poetry at eleven years old and found himself throwing around a lot of ""Thee's"" and ""Thou's"" and ""Shall's"". Although kind, his English teachers told him people don't talk that way anymore. He smiled and said to himself, Thou shall not hinder my creative process. As he grew older and picked up a camera, he held fast to his love of all things different. He photographed cemeteries, abandoned buildings, and things other people may have found strange. There were no magic apps to convert color photos to black and white, so he started using infrared film. The results were not consistent and for every fifty photos he took, he would get two or three decent pictures. Infrared film in particular had a soft focus and ethereal look. Trey fell in love with the contrasting grays, blacks, and whites. In this book, Colorblind, Trey shares that old-world charm captured with photography and in particular, his poetry and 'musings' as he likes to call them. Take a ride with Trey Pitts through time and harken back to a simpler era.
