As a young girl, Chandra Byers traveled around the country with her family before settling down in the Denver area and entering college. It was there she met her future husband, David. Chandra later decided to attend a business school where she graduated top in her class as an administrative assistant. As a result of her training and experience in this field, she was able to take on a variety of part-time jobs over the years to help meet the family's needs. Chandra reluctantly became a homescho Dr. David Byers holds degrees in Adult and Continuing Education, and Education with a specialization in Teaching and Learning. He and his wife, Chandra, have worked as Family Teachers at the Boys Down facility in Omaha, Nebraska, and have hometaught children ages 2 to 18 for over 12 years.
