OverviewThe Arbitration and Mediation Center of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO Center) offers services for the resolution of commercial disputes between private parties involving intellectual property through procedures other than court litigation. Prominent among these disputes in recent years have been those arising out of bad-faith registration and use of Internet domain names corresponding to trademark rights. The administrative mechanism for resolving such disputes is embodied in WIPO's Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
