Ammann, b. 1938, was elected president of the International Alliance of Equestrian Journalists in 1974. His work for the World Cup Jumping required him to travel around the world. He and his wife Korine used these travels to visit museums and ateliers of artists, since 1995 focussing more and more on Outsider Art. Markus Landert, b. 1958, studied the history of art at the University of Zurich. He worked as a journalist and assistant to the curator of the Museum of Art, Berne.
