Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationCarmen Malvar holds a PhD in social design, is a member of the international GIS research group for Retail and Service Futures as part of the Design Research Society (DRS) and collaborator with the UNESCO Chair of Sustainability Barcelona with 20 years of experience on leading teamwork based on design practice. Carmen has worked on projects developed with indigenous communities in the highlands of México and is currently researching the social and ecological impact of some global industries and their backstage production, designing and implementing strategies where their production process and distribution chain shares the concern with stakeholders and the community. She is the founder of CADA Foundation, a platform for understanding cultural heritage through social design.
