Author Information

Anne Merrild Hansen is professor in planning and impact assessment in the Arctic at Aalborg University and the head of the Research Platform AAU Arctic at Aalborg University. Her research is focused on social impact assessment in relation to extractive industries in the Arctic. Carina Ren is associate professor at the Centre for Innovation and Research in Culture and Living in the Arctic at Aalborg University and the platform coordinator of AAU Arctic. Carina researches connections between tourism and other fields of the social through cultural innovation, knowledge collaboration and capacity building.
