Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationBhoomika Rastogi Kar, PhD, is associate professor at the Centre of Behavioral and Cognitive Sciences (CBCS), University of Allahabad. She received her doctorate at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, with Shobini L. Rao as her supervisor in 2 3. She has specialized in developmental cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychology. She has a master's degree in psychology and master's degree in medical and social psychology. She has developed a neuropsychological battery for children (as a part of her doctoral thesis) and has studied the growth patterns of neuropsychological functions of Indian children. Her research interests are cognitive development including normative development of attention and control processes and developmental disorders such as dyslexia and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Her current projects focus on cognitive and affective control, conflict monitoring, bilingualism, and cognitive control using behavioral and electrophysiological methods such as EEG/ERP. She has published several papers, book chapters, and coedited Advances in Cognitive Science, Volume 2. She has presented her work at International and National Conferences in India and abroad.
