Author Information

Estelle Demontrond-Box was born in Besançon, France in 1972. Passionate about languages, Estelle studied English, Italian and Spanish in secondary school, eventually earning a teaching qualification. She taught English in French schools for several years. She later moved to Britain, where she lived for 10 years, teaching French as a Foreign Language and obtaining a Diploma in Translation from the Institute of Linguists in London. She started her own company, Demontrond-Box French Language Services, allowing her to put to use her skills and love for writing and translation. She currently lives in Sydney in Australia. She is the author of Assimil's new French Phrasebook, in which her talent for combining language-learning with enjoyment allows learners to discover the pleasure of speaking French.
