OverviewIn the summer of 2019, I hit rock bottom. I had finished off a bottle of whiskey and got in my car with only one intention; ending it. Yet for some unforeseen reason, I crawled out of that flipped over green SUV without a scratch and nowhere left to turn. No one was injured, but many were in pain. Something needed to be done, and so it was. I went to war with the demons in my mind. This is a collection of writings through the first year of sobriety. It isn't easy. It isn't pretty. But it can happen. This is my story. I don't know you nor you me. I tell myself that if my words help even one person, then my struggle, my pain, was worth it.
