Code of Honor

Overview

A gifted artist. A notorious rake. A wager that could destroy them both. Alexandra Chilton longs for freedom-not marriage. Devoted to her art and intellectual pursuits, she has no interest in London society and its confining expectations ... until she crosses paths with the dangerously charming Earl of Branford. Bored, restless, and infamous for scandal, Branford commits himself to a reckless wager while drunk: seduce Alexandra Chilton. But what begins as a game soon becomes something far more dangerous when Alexandra challenges his cynicism-and awakens feelings he never expected. As passion ignites and secrets unravel, a ruthless enemy moves to destroy them both. With reputations at stake and hearts on the line, Alexandra and Branford must decide whether love is worth risking everything. Andrea Pickens delivers wit, emotional depth, and mounting tension in a story where love is forged through challenge, courage, and the willingness to risk everything for the truth of the heart.

Author Information

I started creating books at the age of five, or so my mother tells me. And she has the proof-a neatly penciled story, the pages lavishly illustrated with full color crayon drawings of horses and bound with staples-to back up her claim. I have since moved on from Westerns to writing about Regency England (clearly I have a thing for Men In Boots!) a time and place that has captured my imagination ever since I opened the covers of Jane Austen's ""Pride and Prejudice.""I have a BA and an MFA in Graphic Design from Yale University, where I studied book design (As you see, I've always had a left brain-right brain love affair with art and the printed word.) These days, when I'm not tethered to my keyboard I enjoy traveling to interesting destinations around the world-however, my favorite spot is London, where the esoteric museums, funky antique markets and used book stores offer a wealth of inspiration for my stories.
