Rachel Lofthouse (Author) Rachel Lofthouse is former Professor of Teacher Education at Leeds Beckett University, England. She founded CollectivED, a research and practice centre with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and professional learning. Rachel has been engaged in coaching in education for almost three decades, as a practitioner, researcher and professional development facilitator. Her work has allowed her to engage with and lead local, national and international professional and academic networks. Prior to joining Leeds Beckett University Rachel worked as a secondary teacher and middle leader in schools in the North East of England and as a teacher educator, researcher and course director at Newcastle University. Rachel retired after thirty-four years as an educator to pursue a new career drawing on her skills of dialogue, support and advocacy. Her commitment to coaching, done well, remains. Jasen Booton (Author) Jasen's career spans 30 years in the field of primary phase education. He has worked globally in roles such as advanced skills teacher, instructional coach, senior leader, and university teacher educator. He served as the founding director of learning and teaching for a multi-academy trust and teaching school. Jasen completed his Master's in Learning and Teaching at the University of Oxford and continues to be an active member of the Oxford Education Deanery. As an accredited EMCC coach, he passionately supports changemakers in Africa to drive social change. Jasen currently serves as a consultant in the Kingdom of Tonga, using a coaching approach to co-construct the primary phase curriculum and support the growth and development of teachers and Ministry of Education personnel. Trista Hollweck (Author) Trista Hollweck is a pracademic who integrates the worlds of research, policy, and practice. She is a former secondary teacher, vice-principal, and school district consultant at the Western Quebec School Board in Quebec, Canada and leads educational research and practice networks at local, provincial, national, and international levels. Trista is a CollectivED Senior Fellow and Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa where she researches collaborative-based professional learning and teaches graduate courses on mentoring and coaching in professional contexts. Trista is a proud mom of three and is committed to supporting schools and systems to improve education for all students within and across educational systems globally.
