OverviewAndrew's evocative poems are grounded in his experiences growing up in South Wales. With clarity and wit, he takes us on a roller coaster ride from spring flowers in the grass to the edge of space. Along the way, he draws on family memories from the postwar years and mourns the loss of a dear friend. A love of nature and all that is fragile and fleeting inspires him throughout. Expertly moving from hair raising to hilarious, his poems celebrate resilience, survival, connection and wonder.
