She attended University of Oregon, and continued her education in New York at FIT, SVA, and Pratt. She enjoys a wide range of handmade techniques and utilizes computer technology as a complementary tool. Corwin taught popular craft classes from her Brooklyn studio, then moved to northern California, where she lives and continues to write, teach, and work as a design consultant for a variety of clients.
