Author Information

DAVID CYRANOSKI is Asia-Pacific correspondent for Nature, the leading international journal of science. He was the first journalist to uncover Hwang's ethical transgressions in May 2004 and lead the world's coverage of each episode of the sorry story thereafter, being uniquely embedded with Korean journalists, scientists, and researchers in the international cloning community. David has written for The Atlantic Monthly and Newsweek and appeared on Korean and Japanese TV. Prior to joining Nature, David taught history of science at the University of California, Berkeley, USA.
