Viral N. Shah, MD, is Professor of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology & Metabolism and Director of Diabetes Clinical Research at the IU Center for Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases at Indiana University. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Diabetology, and has published more than 200 articles, reviews, editorials, and book chapters. Halis Kaan Akturk, MD, is Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, University of Colorado. His research is focused on improving glycemic control with advanced technologies and therapeutics in people with type 1 diabetes. He has been Principle Investigator in numerous clinical trials of diabetes technologies and therapeutics, and has published more than 130 peer-reviewed articles.
