Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationRenee Laura Fabus is an assistant professor at Brooklyn College in the Speech Communication Arts and Sciences Department. She received her BA in Psychology from New York University, MS in Speech-Language Pathology from Teachers College (1992), Columbia University, and PhD from Columbia University (2006). She has been a speech-language pathologist for 14 years and employed in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient treatment centers, university clinics, agencies, and private practice. Currently, she is a board member for LISHA, a member of the editorial staff for the LISHA newsletter and chair of the Student Issues Committee of NYSSLHA, and responsible for the Student Competition at the NYSSLHA convention. Julia Yudes-Kuznetsov is a bilingual (Russian-English) speech-language pathologist and an adjunct instructor in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department at Adelphi University. She has received training in SLP and linguistics from Moscow State Pedagogical University and a M.S. in SLP from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has been an SLP for 10 years, applying bilingual/bicultural knowledge while working with both adults and children. She became interested in multimedia use in teaching/training while presenting at workshops/inservices, as well as during teaching. Terry Hausner Gozdziewski, SDS, SAS, TSHH, MA, CCC-SLP, has been a clinical speech-language pathologist for 38 years in both New York and Connecticut, and has been an adjunct professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Adelphi University for 15 years (where she was nominated for a Teacher of Excellence award) and also at Long Island University (LIU)-Post. She received her bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology from Adelphi University, her master's degree in speech-language pathology from the George Washington University, and her educational administration degrees from LIU-Post. In addition to her work in public schools (where she was named Teacher of the Year), Ms. Gozdziewski has created and taught numerous workshops on the integration of speech and language with reading and language arts throughout Long Island. She has provided speech therapy for clients of all ages and with varied diagnoses, but has a special interest in working with children who display difficulties in the area of articulation.
