Fantastic Mt Fuji Cimb: Excellent book by a very experienced guide. I read this comprehensive book and then climbed Mt Fuji summit with Richard together with my husband and girlfriends. Such a wonderful experience. It's very important to understand the complexities and potential dangers before you take on such a climb. We did it off-season in June and would not attempt this without such a guide. Richard not only educated us on the best route to take but he also showed us how to walk so we maintained our energy level and we did not suffer physically after the climb.
