 Dr. Niranjan Roy is a Senior Professor in Economics, Assam University (A central University), India and also the Director, Centre for Studies in Human Development (CSHD) Assam University. He is a distinguished academician specialised in environmental economics, climate change, regional studies and social sector issues. His publications include 12 books (both edited and references) and many research papers and articles in international and national journals. Dr. Avijit Debnath is an Associate Professor in Economics, Assam University (A central University), India. He is a gold medalist in post –graduation and completed PhD from Assam University. He is specialised in health economics, international economics and environmental economics. He has published a number of research papers/articles in reputed and referred national and international journals.   Dr. Sunil Nautiyal is presently serving as Director, GB Pant National Instituteof Himalayan Environment (NIHE), Kosi - Katarmal, Almora, Uttarakhand, India. He is a professor at the Centre for Ecological Economics and Natural Resources (CEENR), Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bengaluru and Honorary Professor at the University of Ladakh. His specialisation includes areas of NRM and Biodiversity Conservation, Production System Analysis, Protected Area Management and HWC&C, Landscape dynamics, Ecological Modelling, GIS and Remote Sensing for Landscape Research, Urban-rural interface and Sustainability, Climate Change, Sustainable Livelihood & Socio-ecological Development (Socio-Ecologist). He works to develop an integrated interdisciplinary approach for sustainable landscape development.
