Reviews

This book's audience, in my view is a broad one: [all] who have the appetite and capacity for mastering the level of technical detail needed to understand--really understand--what global climate disruption is, where it is headed, what can be done, and how. No other book that I'm aware of offers this one's combination, for these purposes, of comprehensiveness, authoritativeness, currency, and readability . . . The intellectual terrain it covers is vast and sometimes demanding, but it will repay the efforts of all those able and willing to traverse it. May many do so. --John P. Holdren Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology
