Overview

A simple errand that turns into a car accident, and Clifton bangs his head and blacks out. An unfortunate if not uncommon occurrence, even for the dashing colonel – until he wakes up to realise that his passenger, Jade, has vanished! In 1972, De Groot took over the very successful Clifton series, originally created by Raymond Macherot. He began a fruitful collaboration with Rodrigue in 1999 by launching the Doggyguard series, published by Le Lombard. The latter joined him in 2002 to continue the adventures of the famous Sir Harold Wilberforce Clifton.
