J. David Epstein, is one of the leading experts on church tax law today and serves as tax counsel to the American Ministers Professional Association (AMPA). With more than 25 years' experience in church tax and legal issues, Epstein often files comments with the IRS on tax laws that affect ministers. In addition to many articles and interviews with national media, such as Money Matters with Larry Burkett and Pastor to Pastor with Dr. H.B. London, Epstein earned the degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University and is admitted to three state bars, four federal district and appeals courts and the United States Tax Court, and is admitted to practice before the IRS.
