Reviews

This book is a must read for any teacher who has classroom management issues. The tenets of the book are very practical and make a ton of sense. Teachers can apply this book to all grade levels and ages of students. -- Blair, Dr. Carlos As an instructional coach, I work with a lot of teachers who have classroom management issues. I've used Dr. Yisrael's work to assist me with helping teachers to properly manage their classrooms, and to provide them with an additional resource. -- Harriston, Angela This book is truly what teachers need. It is packed with strategies that actually work in the toughest of classroom settings. Many classroom management books take on a one size fits all approach , but Dr. Yisrael's book is not like that. His book is actually linked to what teachers experience every day. The strategies truly resonate with the often harsh realities and difficulties teachers face while trying to teach students. -- Gorbet, Jessica The chapter on parental engagement is excellent. I wish all teachers took this approach when dealing with the parental community. -- Weems, Tia L. The strategies in this book has truly made a difference in my classroom. I have less referrals, but more importantly, I feel more confident about my ability to handle issues as they arise. -- Hebron, Julie
