Overview

Some stories are timeless, thanks to the wisdom they impart. With this clever series, Aesop's tales take on a new spin through music. Classic Fables in Rhythm and Rhyme gives young readers a multisensory way to determine these stories' important morals. The relatable animal characters are brought to life through graphic-style action-packed illustrations. And memorable lyrics make the stories, and the life lessons they offer, easy to remember.

Author Information

Emma Carlson Berne has written numerous historical and biographical books for children and young adults, as well as young adult fiction. She lives in Cincinnati with her husband and two sons. Tim Palin has been drawing ever since he can remember. On road trips as a kid, he drew monsters in the back of the car. In high school, he'd stay up all night drawing cartoon dinosaurs. In his college years, he took drawing and sketching classes. After many years away from drawing, he's back and has been devoting his drawing time to children's publishing and he loves every minute of it! He says, I create daily sketches to keep my mind sharp and play with new shapes and techniques. Whether, it's a ladybug or a baseball or a ladybug playing baseball, I 'make stuff' every day! Jennie was born in England and grew up in Malaysia, in the jungle. At the age of ten, she moved back to England and went on to study Fine Art at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, as well as Fashion Illustration at Central St Martins. Jennie loves the countryside, animals, tea and reading. She lives in Woking, England with her husband and two wonderful daughters.
