Overview

This is an autobiographical novel of a Venezuelan born who lives in a Mediterranean island. An optimistic view of a woman's life, Clara Thinks to Us uses fantasy to present the reader with hope on different topics from social classes, to health, success and family. Clara loves science, music and travelling. She made the most out of the opportunities she had in her 88 years of life. In this book, she thinks about many issues that trouble any human being. It is her final interview and her legacy to the world in 2055. There are positive outcomes to issues that trouble today's parents such as: excess use of display devices by their children, lack of fitness, convenience foods and toxic remains in the food we eat. She explains how fear can lead to autoimmune conditions. If you want to have a positive vision of humanity's future, you can find it in this multicultural family. Apart from being trilingual, they also lived in Australia, a land where they created memories they very much cherish. Clara is proof that acknowledging the opportunities and taking risks pays off. She is also aware of how our own perception can take us from feeling miserable to feeling accomplished. If you are healthy and have a home, you can still feel down some times. Clara's views can make you feel better. Clara shares her own perspective on Latin America and their populistic governments that eventually fail. She connects it with extreme movements rising in Europe and the migration waves that affect the whole world as peoples move in hope of a better future for their children.

Author Information

A Bio-Statistician with a piano and a garden who was born in Venezuela and is currently living in a Mediterranean island. Veronica is a Spanish speaker who currently communicates in Greek and English. After teaching Advanced Biology for 10 years she left the island for Australia where she enjoyed the privileged position of full-time homemaker for almost 5 years. In mothering 2 boys and wondering about the madness she had been living in as a full-time academic, parent and wife, she started devouring literature on parenting and relationships. Social Media platforms have been her allies in staying in touch with family and friends around the globe. She briefly blogged about Online Marketing based on her experience and willingness to promote small businesses in her community. This triggered a need for writing about all sorts of issues related to motherhood, self-help and the definition of success. That's how Clara Thinks To Us was born.
