Susanne Hecker is Research Associate at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ and the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) Halle-Jena-Leipzig. Muki Haklay is Professor of Geographic Information Science at UCL. His research interests include public access, use, and creation of environmental information; interaction with geographical technologies; participatory mapping; and citizen science. He is the co-director of UCL Extreme Citizen Science group (ExCiteS) and co-founder of the social enterprise Mapping for Change. Anne Bowser is Director for Innovation at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Washington, DC. Zen Makuch is Director of Sustainable Transitions, Centre for Environmental Policy, Imperial College London. Johannes Vogel is the Director General, Museum für Naturkunde, Leibniz Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity Science, and Professor for Biodiversity and Public Science at the Humboldt University, Berlin. Aletta Bonn is Professor of Ecosystem Services at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena and Head of Department at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ within the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) Halle-Jena-Leipzig.
