Overview

What does it take to be a CITIZEN of HEAVEN? Does God really exist and is He really in control of everything? What is your understanding of the eternal HEAVEN and HELL? There is an internal struggle within all of humanity about the origin of life itself as well as the origin of all that exists in the vastness of our immeasurable universe. How did it all begin? Citizen of Heaven will challenge you to consider where you personally stand on the critical topic of CREATION or EVOLUTION. This belief will shape your points of view on current world events unfolding everywhere, as well as your points of view of the future eternal destination HEAVEN or HELL after your life on earth ends. In this insightful book, the author shares his own journey toward citizenship to heaven, citing evidence that is plain and clearly displayed for everyone to see every single day. If you choose to humble yourself - while you can - and earnestly seek out the one and only true God, then He is faithful to reveal Himself to you. You will find a comfort and assurance beyond anything you can possibly describe in words, and you will know it in your heart. In this day and age of mass confusion, deception, and conflict, SEEKING THE TRUTH revealed in plain sight is an individual responsibility to be undertaken with the utmost sense of urgency, in order for one to become a CITIZEN of HEAVEN.

Reviews

5-Star Review: This is a thoughtful and uplifting book that will help you get a closer relationship with God. He talks about looking beyond just being a decent person, and encourages you to connect with God and live as God would wish. Which also means, of course, going beyond just trying to attain as many possessions, or chasing as much hedonistic pleasure, as possible in the passing time we have on earth, and instead looking to prepare ourselves for the afterlife. Rizea also looks at the question of creation vs. evolution from a different perspective. He doesn't discuss it on the superficial and self-serving terms of the Darwinists - such as arguing that some obscure fossil has what looks like legs, and, as such, suffices by itself to make up for the billions of missing connecting links. He looks, rather, at the big picture of the awesome totality of the universe, and makes the obvious observation that it can only have come from a creator. Well written, heartfelt, and not preachy. You'll feel a lot better having read it.

Author Information

Cornel Rizea is a graduate of the University of Windsor with a mechanical engineering degree. Born in Bucharest, Romania, he arrived in Canada with his father and brother when he was 11. After two years, his mother and two sisters were allowed to join the rest of the family. It was during that time when Cornel was first introduced to the God of the bible and the power of faith and prayer. As a young man at 21, he survived a devastating car crash that turned out to be fatal for his younger sister, Rodica. In this case, Cornel's faith was again tested and was left to wonder why this had to happen. As time passed, he continued to be drawn closer to the creator of the universe and has found valuable purpose in sharing God's greatest gift to mankind. In the recent past, he experienced the exhilaration of having climbed Mount Kilimanjaro as he enjoys traveling, writing, extra spicy Caesars, and a plethora of outdoor activities. He is proud to be called dad by his four amazing children and is currently a resident of Michigan, USA enjoying life with his beautiful wife. Dr. Donald McKay is the senior pastor of Bloomfield Hills Baptist Church, a church known within the Metro Detroit area for having strong biblical preaching and dynamic worship. Dr. McKay joined Bloomfield in May, 2008. Beside serving as a pastor he has been a radio and television host and a college professor. Currently, he is the president of the Bloomfield Hills Institute for Theological Studies, a Bible school for lay people. Dr. McKay was ordained into the ministry in 1993. He has a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Biola University, a M.A. in Theological Studies from Talbot Seminary (La Mirada, CA) and a Doctorate from Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA).
