He is also an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, A Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society. His research focuses on how emerging technologies, such as connected sensors and cognitive computing, can augment our understanding of the built and natural environment.
