Reviews

"""[T]his volume can be considered as a major development in the scholarship of early metals in the Mediterranean and south-west Asia as it provides a range of pathways to explore the different values and changing roles of metals.""-- ""Antiquity"""

"""Intended to have broad appeal, this neat, slim, yet robust paperback volume maintains an accessible style throughout. [T]his volume shines a welcome spotlight on several key topics of recent interest to archaeometallurgists, loosely centered around the cultural specificity of metal use and conceptualization, as well as the transformation of meaning as metals move between societies (both geographically and chronologically), developments that may have otherwise escaped the attention of a wider audience.""--Hannah Mattson ""Journal of Anthropological Research"" ""[T]his volume can be considered as a major development in the scholarship of early metals in the Mediterranean and south-west Asia as it provides a range of pathways to explore the different values and changing roles of metals.""-- ""Antiquity"""
