Cinderskella

Overview

Middle school is scary. So is turning into a skeleton at night. To win at both, you've got to put some skin in the game. Cindy has a secret. Every night since her mother's death, she turns into a boney, white skeleton. As if that wasn't bad enough, Cindy's dad is afraid of her, she has an evil stepmother who makes her do crazy chores, and there's a werewolf who wants to make Cindy his midnight snack. This curse is really starting to get under her skin. With the Spring Fling dance fast approaching and Ethan, the cutest boy in sixth grade, showing interest in Cindy, she must figure out a way to shed her curse even if just for one night. But when she discovers that her curse allows her to visit her mother in the Underworld, Cindy realizes things might not be as bad as she thought. That is until she meets Mr. Death, the strange and wacky undertaker. Things are heating up in the Underworld, and if Cindy doesn't take matters into her own hands, the people she loves most might be in jeopardy. But if she cures her curse, she may never see her mother again.
