Carlos A. Perez Ricart (Mexico, 1987) es profesor-investigador de la Division de Estudios Internacionales del Centro de Investigacion y Docencia Economicas (CIDE). Es doctor en Ciencias Politicas por la Universidad Libre de Berlin y licenciado en Relaciones Internacionales por El Colegio de Mexico. Entre 2017 y 2020 fue maestro e investigador posdoctoral en la Universidad de Oxford, Reino Unido. Las investigaciones del profesor Perez Ricart han sido publicadas en prestigiosas revistas cientificas, asi como en articulos de divulgacion y capitulos de libros sobre comercio de armas, politica de drogas, crimen organizado y seguridad en la relacion entre Mexico y Estados Unidos. Perez Ricart es, ademas, frecuente colabodor de medios de comunicacion nacionales e internacionales, asi como consultor en temas de seguridad y justicia. Su mas reciente publicacion es el libro Gun Trafficking and Violence. From The Global Network to The Local Security Challenge (Palgrave, 2021).
