Overview

This manual is designed to stoke the prayers of intercessors in praying for their churches and pastors. This manual was originally put together for the Pastor's Prayer Force at Calvary Baptist Church in Kingsport, Tennessee, where I am currently pastor. I have taken all of the Calvary-specific material out of the book to adapt if for other churches.

Dr. Donnie C. Brannen is pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Kingsport, Tennessee. He has previously pastored churches in Dry Valley Baptist Church in Union Star, Kentucky; Sand Hill Baptist Church in Guyton, Georgia, and Silk Hope Baptist Church in Savannah, Georgia. He is a graduate of Armstrong State College in Savannah, Georgia; The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky; and Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana. He has been married to his wife Heidi since 1983, and they have two children, Elizabeth (born 1987, married to Caleb Horne, and mommy to Connor Horne, born 2013) and Chris (born 1992).
