Professor Christine Trevett, Department of Religious and Theological Studies, Cardiff University, specialises in the ecclesiology of early Christianity, British Quakerism, Montanism, and recovering the contributions of women. Her works include Montanism: Gender, Authority and the New Prophecy (1996), and Quaker Women Prophets in England and Wales 1650-1700 (2001).
