Chris Caputo is founder of the Recovery Prayer Furnace. His passion is to teach, train, equip and connect individuals, families and inner healing/Recovery ministries worldwide on the subjects of addictions healing, intercessory prayer and joyful healing communities in the context of the local Church and citywide Christian Recovery. Chris was shown great mercy as he turned his life over Jesus, escaping death from addiction in 1997. Since that time, Chris went on to remain clean and sober and given a second chance at life - and joy! He later went on to finish his Masters degree in Social Work in 2000 and spent the next ten years in the substance abuse treatment fi eld either working as a clinical therapist, programs administrator, prevention specialist or training consultant. When his professional treatment service career ended, the journey continued through serving individuals, families, ministries and Churches through Recovery coaching, mentoring, seminars and speaking while pioneering a Kansas City Metro citywide addictions healing and prayer ministry back in 2008. One of Chris' deepest desires is to continue honoring, partnering and building relationships with other Recovery/healing ministries that labor in love with those who continue struggling with active addiction and restless abstinence. His mission is to continue serving both believers and unbelievers to find an intimate relationship with Jesus, to develop a lifestyle of prayer and to grow in one's heart capacity to give and receive the love of Christ, more and more.
