A key element in the success of any undertaking is knowledge of the industry. The present volume is a no-frills directory of Christian and Other Religious Organisations in the United Kingdom, which includes basic information on nearly 3500 companies, sorted in separate sections by (company) name and location. Also included is a third section comprised of dormant companies that once traded and that may continue to do so in the future. For each company, the information included comprises of name and address, date of incorporation (intended as an indication of the company's reliability or standing), size category (small, medium, or large based on accounts type submitted), and an indication of whether there is more than one company registered to the same address. The directory is intended as an initial point of reference, that may be used to determine whether further information is desirable on a given company. It may also be a useful guide to companies that are not listed elsewhere, as the directory is one of the most comprehensive, in terms of number of entries, available today. It may also be used as a mailing list, though those who need this latter utility alone are advised to purchase the CD-ROM version.
