Author Information

Chloe Ito Ward is the author of Love Grows Here and Made for More. She has spent the last decade teaching kindergarten, where she discovered her passion for picture books. She divides her time between the Pacific Northwest and Kaua‘i, Hawai‘i. When she isn’t perfecting her ramen recipe, you can find her rock climbing or racing her husband, son, and their imaginary dog, Miso, across Kalapaki Beach. Lynn Scurfield is the illustrator of many children’s books, including Two New Years and The Quest for a Tangram Dragon. In their spare time, Lynn enjoys knitting, watching tours of beautiful houses online, and going on hikes with Taro, her small (but barky) dog. Lynn resides in Toronto, Canada.
