Author Information

Helen Pain is an occupational therapist at the Southampton Disability Equipment Assessment Centre (DEAC). Lindsay McLellan is the academic Director of the DEAC, and until 2001, was the European Professor of Rehabilitation at the University of Southampton. Sally Gore is Director of Primary Care in the Southampton Community Health Services NHS Trust, and has managed the DEAC since 1991.
