James F. Gollattscheck is a fourth-generation Floridian and the author of Europe the European Way: A Traveler's Guide to Living Affordably in the World's Great Cities (Globe Pequot, 1998). He currently resides in Tucson, Arizona. Daniel Murray is a travel and retirement writer who has lived and worked in several U.S. cities, as well as in Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
