Reviews

""Larry Lieber helped build the foundation of one of the greatest fictional universes ever created. Now he's building a universe of his own with Chirps. Let one of the architects of the Marvel Universe take you on a journey you won't soon forget!""- J.M. DeMatteis, writer of Spider-Man, Justice League, and the DeMultiverse ""Lawrence Lieber presents us with Chirps, an enthralling prose novel that dazzlingly crosses genres like Gene Kelly dancing across New York streets. Whatever you're expecting, you'll be surprised and delighted by this juggernaut of a story.""- Danny Fingeroth, pop culture historian and author of Superman on the Couch

Author Information

Lawrence (Larry) Lieber was a member of the original Marvel Bullpen where, in partnership with his brother, comics icon Stan Lee, and artists including the legendary Jack Kirby, he helped create the most popular fictional universe in history. Lieber also wrote and drew the adventures of Western hero the Rawhide Kid, wrote and drew the Incredible Hulk newspaper strip, and drew the Spider-Man newspaper strip for more than three decades. Lieber is the winner of Comic-Con International's Bill Finger Award for Excellence in Comic Writing and, for Chirps, the Grand Prize of the Hollywood Book Festival. A lifelong New Yorker, Lieber served in the U.S. Air Force on Okinawa during the Korean War.
